The story
Nobody impulse-buys a router. Viktor’s electronics store serves comparison shoppers: nine tabs open, spec tables scrutinised, prices cross-checked against two marketplaces. His site was tab number six — and the slowest.
Electronics pages are heavy in a particular way: long spec tables, review widgets, compatibility checkers, schema markup. All worth having; none worth rebuilding in PHP per visitor when the page changes only when the price does.
Cached with auto-purge on edit, the pages now win the tab race — and when Viktor reprices forty SKUs on margin day, one purge-and-rewarm from his AI makes sure no cached page undercuts him with an old price.
